Description:

This site was set up as a resource for educators interested in Multicultural issues. Visit the Teacher's Corner with resources specifically for teachers, including multicultural activities to integrate into curriculum. The Multicultural Paths area contains an intensive collection of multicultural sites on the Web divided into subject areas. Teachers can discuss their ideas on multicultural education in the on-line Hypernews discussion section and share their own resources at the MCPavilion International section.

How You Can Use This Source:

  • Browse the archives at The Teacher's Corner where you can find on-line children's literature, historical documents, historical speeches, historic on-line African-American literature, etc. Items from these archives can be viewed, printed out, or browsed by students or teachers.
  • Enter the MCPavilion International section where teachers can submit their own resources into a pool. Educators from around the world can then view and use these materials.
  • Visit the Multicultural Site of the Week.

Thanks to Paul Gorski of the University of Virginia for submitting this site.
