Several databases full of valuable information are available for you to explore and analyze. The databases begin with a map interface where you can choose the state and county for your study with a couple of clicks. You can analyze population, agricultural, economic, and trade figures for all counties in the United States. Information from the 1990 census is available, and some of the data goes back to 1969. There is a huge amount of information in these databases, and there are countless ways to analyze it.

How You Can Use This Source:

  • Compare the ethnic diversity, regional income, or divorce rate of different counties within a certain time frame or in different years.
  • Compare national imports and exports of all kinds of commodities, including fresh fish, dairy products, fertilizer, plastics, cotton, and glassware.
