Description:

Visual Calculus is the web-based collection of notes, examples, and suggestions for students taking Calculus I and Calculus II at the University of Tennessee - or anywhere else. All pages are organized according to the table of contents of the student's textbook, which is also available on-line. A help section explains how students and teachers can make the best of this resource. Sections on Pre-Calculus, Limits and Continuity, Derivatives, and more contain easy-to-follow tutorials, drill exercises, and links to computer programs (often a variety of them) that will help students visualize the concepts to learn.

How You Can Use This Source:

  • Read the on-line textbook first if these concepts are new to you.
  • Use the links to visual aids to help your understanding.
  • Prepare for tests by going through the exercises by concept.
